Carol Anne Goodman, Tiki Tie Ten Quee and our five children feel blessed to live at our 203 acre farm. Tiki's family bought this property in 1973 and moved in when he was 3 months old. Over the years various siblings have owned the farm and in 2007 we married and officially purchased and named our homestead 100 Mile Farm. We began restoring the 100 year old heritage buildings with a dream of one day sharing our farm with others.
Tiki has worked for many years in Western Canada, the Ottawa area and Hawaii as a master carpenter and general contractor specializing in concrete formwork and structural. Having spent countless hours in the garden and with the animals on the farm with his mother Tiki is excited to be following his life long love affair with farming. He is also passionately pursuing (with the children) Jiu-jitsu and whenever possible surfing.
Carol Anne Goodman has been working as a professional artist and entrepreneur specializing in painting fairies and creating healing jewelry for over 15 years. Working with Aboriginals from Guatemala and Canada she built a business named Moonlodgedesigns selling fair trade jewelry and crafts wholesale throughout Canada, The States and Europe. Trained in the Wise Woman Tradition having complete a 4-year Traditional Healer Internship with Kathleen Leeson (www.kathleenleeson.ca) Carol loves working with medicinal plants and teaching adults and children how to connect with nature through art. She now offers her skills as a healer through fairy readings (certified ATP practionner through Doreen Virtue), one of kind healing jewelry, her fairy art and as a teacher.
We are very pleased to finally open up our farm to others and share the magic and beauty that we are so lucky to be surrounded by. The name 100 Mile Farm was inspired by the environmentally conscious trend towards buying locally grown produce as opposed to wasting precious fossil fuels and importing food from far away places.
